Did not work for me!
I ordered this product after looking at several amazing reviews and comments all across social media and on different platforms online. I have combination dry skin that is not too sensitive but sometimes breaks out if introduced to something new. I read an amazing review by someone who shares very honest and well put reviews of skin care products on Instagram - she said she swears by it. Also, I happen to have similar skin type as hers. She's someone who loves the Neutrogena sunscreen and so do I! And mind you, Neutrogena has either lovers or haters, there's really no in between. Seeing someone with similar skin type recommending this particular product was all I needed to hop on and purchase Dr. Sheth's Cica & Ceramide Overnight Repair Serum. Before applying the product to my face, I did a patch test and nothing really happened. Honestly, I feel like trying something on your hand for your face anyway doesn't tell much, but that's just me. When I applied the product on my face for the first time, I noticed inflammation and rashes the next morning. I still went on to apply it the second night just to see if my skin reacted the same way. And it did! I was also PMSing and my skin becomes extra sensitive around that time so I skipped a few nights and thought I'll try the product again later. To my disappointment, my skin reacted the same way! :( I had minor swelling and bumpiness and this time I even broke out. I tried so hard to convince myself that this will work for me and took a break in between and resumed using the product, but man my skin did not approve! I do not simply want to bash a product that has worked for so many and didn't do me any good, THAT'S JUST NOT FAIR! I bought this product looking at several great reviews, it was my choice to make the purchase, it didn't work out. It's alright! Maybe when my skin is feeling better, or maybe when the season changes, I will give it another go. Please do your research and only then go on to buy something. Everyone has very different skin types and our bodies react to products differently. I did my research and honestly looked at so many reviews before I bought it, but it's not for me. Which is fine! Just wanted to share my experience.
